Tips On Monitoring Your Own House In The Evening

By Mikale M Oshby

We viewed the burglar on video rushing out of our home, in the dim light, toting his bag filled with our things. The camera was directed right at his own face, but this didn't help. Because the recording was very dim, you could not view his face at all.

We still showed this to the police officers, needless to say. Naturally, they couldn't make his face out, either, thus the video was fairly worthless. That exact same day, I replaced our previous CCTV camera with the best low light security camera I could locate. This new one works also under no light at all.

Monitoring video cameras allow people to guard their homes or businesses versus burglaries, and also keep track of their own staff or loved ones. Some let monitoring from another place.

Surveillance cameras aren't made equal, as we discovered. Some types can't see in the dark. Others can, but some of these can't see as good as the others.

That is why I bought a day/night video camera which can see no matter what the lighting conditions are, or just what the weather is like.

The day/night video camera with 56 infrared LEDs which I acquired can see up to 60 feet even during total darkness with its 56 IR illuminators and 1/3 Sony Super HAD CCD image sensor. And it is a weatherproof video camera thus this is going to work wherever.

This particular infrared video camera can be obtained wired or wireless. It includes all the required power supplies and also battery packs. The wire free cams, such as mine, possess a free 2.4 GHz receiver.

Not even the best low light surveillance camera on the planet can go back in time in order to assist us capture that crook who had swiped a few of our valuables. Even if we never put him behind bars or get our stuff back, one thing is for sure, at least. If he tries to go back, or another individual breaks into our home, there is not a way he's getting away with this unidentified, no matter how dark it is.
